Today was Week 3 Day 6 of the Hal Higdon 10K Training Plan.

Did 53 minutes on the elliptical as cross-training, burning somewhere around 1012 calories according to the machine. I’m pretty sure it overestimates the amount burned, but that’s probably in the ballpark. Felt good.

Tonight’s podcasts included Weekend America and NPR Kitchen Window.

Tomorrow is the long run.

    It is cool you listed the podcasts you were listening to. My iPod Nano has really helped me get through a lot of drudgery on the treadmill and elliptical.

    Hey Bill,

    Yeah, I don’t mind running without music because there always seems to be something to look at. The elliptical work does get a little old after about 15-20 minutes. :)

    As for podcasts, the NPR podcasts are particularly good, if you like that sort of thing.
