NP1M run and lift

Sunday (6/21) I did 3.11 miles in 32:18 (10:22/mi) with an average speed of 5.8 mph and a max of 7.8 mph. Splits were 10:13, 10:30, and 10:37 with the last tenth at a 8:31/mi pace. Burned about 470 calories. That’s the first 5K distance I’ve done in a long time.

Yesterday I skipped running and did some strength training. Got the free weights out and did my normal routine of upper and lower body work. Was definitely sore today. Again, it’s been a while.
