Trying out some new themes, and it would appear that this one breaks the ability to search the archives. Oh well, does anyone actually visit websites these days? RSS makes the whole “theme” thing seem a bit obsolete anyway.

Upgraded to WordPress 2.8 tonight. I see they dropped the need to go to upgrade.php as part of the process.
Yep, I’m still around. Ended up falling off my training plan in August and then did some significant traveling in September. But I’m back now, and running-related posts should resume shortly.
Upgraded to WordPress 2.6, and so far everything seems to be working.
I just upgraded the site theme to K2 Release Candidate 6. It adds some cool features like avatar support and image galleries.
Just FYI, if you are upgrading to the brand new WordPress 2.5 release and you are using the K2 theme, expect some problems. Apparently if you are using K2 RC3 or earlier, you’ll get the following error:
Call to undefined function wp_register_sidebar_widget
…and will be unable to log in to the admin interface. At least that’s what happened to me and quite a few others.
According to the K2 site, they should have full WordPress 2.5 support soon. In the meantime, I’ve found that the K2 RC4 release works fine.
Loaded the latest K2 release candidate tonight and it seems to have some nifty new features, but it still has a few bugs. Please excuse the mess.
Upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1. Looks like it worked.
Finally upgraded to WordPress 2.2.2. That was way overdue.
