Python megaframeworks concept map

Well this is interesting… Stefane Fermigier has created a concept map to “try to clarify the dependencies between the so-called frameworks and megaframeworks and other Python packages.”

Here’s what it looks like:

Concept map v.1

The current version of the map includes Zope, TurboGears, Django, Subway, and Pylons.

Why is Django in the second row? It’s the only item not in the top row that doesn’t have anything point into it.

You can add a “May use” link from TurboGears to SQLAlchemy. At some point, it’s looking like that may become a “Uses’ link, but not just yet.
