Django and 23Excuses.com

Andrew converted his site over to the Django framework and seems quite happy with it:

The funny thing about Django, is that once you start using it, it’s not easy to look at web applications the same. It’s quick, easy to use and written in Python, my 3 favorite things.

Check out his From Concept to Reality in 30 Days and and the earlier Django Doesn’t Suck post for more of his thoughts and comments.

I just found you in my referrers. Thanks for the kind thoughts. I am quite happy with Django, though I must admit I was skeptical back in September when I first discovered it.

Cool, glad it’s working out for you!

I have yet to actually make anything substantial using Django. Right now I’m really quite happy with WordPress, so I don’t see the site getting converted anytime soon. I might try something simple like a todo list app for at home…

Anyway, nice site. Keep up the good work. :)
