Well this looks interesting:

In short, TurboEntity is a high-level declarative layer on top of SQLAlchemy, inspired by - but somewhat “thicker” than - Jonathan LaCour’s ActiveMapper extension.

Granted, being a layer on top of an ORM smells of hammer factory factory to me… but still. Check out the code snippets on their website. Could be cool.
